We were given a 20 minute segment, but it felt longer and it was a bit challenging because there were really only 4 of us physically performing. We literally just came up with our "routine" 10 minutes before we went in front of the crowd and performed whatever came into mind during a brief huddle as we each took turns doing our presentation.
Mike mc'd and narrated as we performed, then did a couple of rounds of free-flow with Kyle. Dustin demonstrated part of the 64 Attacks form and an espada y daga sayaw, Kyle did two rounds of solo baston sayaw, while I performed with doble kalis, solo daga, and solo baston. We also did a few rounds of dynamic partner flow. We were BLAZING and the audience got a small glimpse of what Pekiti-Tirsia Kali looks like as it should be executed, without the fluff.
I wanna give a quick shout of thanks to Guro Dustin Denson for performing with us and to Mike and PTK San Francisco for putting us out there. I look forward to having our PTK-SMF crew perform again at the next Pistahan in San Francisco!
